Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) – London

Location: London (Hybrid)
Sector: Financial Services
Type: Permanent
Salary: Circa 130k + bonus + benefits

We're partnering with a phenomenally well-regarded trading and investment firm who are looking for a Senior / Lead Developer, they want someone technically sharp enough to design complex distributed systems and credible enough to lead a small team.

If you've been waiting for a role that rewards both sides of your skillset, this is it.

Please note role will be 4 days a week in their new West End offices.

The Role

You'll lead a small, focused team of.NET developers building systems that sit at the heart of the business - touching trading, compliance, and operations. You'll own architecture decisions, drive delivery, and shape how the team works. Critically, you'll stay hands-on: this firm values engineers who can still get into the detail.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
