Role purpose

The CBPM Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with customers across Syri's cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBPM) business. The role combines proactive account management, revenue growth and responsive customer service, ensuring customers receive clear communication and effective support from onboarding through to ongoing supply.

This is primarily an account-management role, with a smaller new-business element. Approximately 15-20% of the role will involve prospecting activity such as targeted cold calls, emails, lead generation and initial qualification of prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

Account management and customer service

  • Act as the day-to-day commercial contact for an assigned portfolio of CBPM customers, building trusted and professional relationships.
  • Understand each customer's business model, priorities, product requirements and growth plans, and maintain clear account development plans.
  • Provide prompt, accurate and helpful responses to commercial and operational enquiries, coordinating internally where specialist input is required.
  • Manage regular customer check-ins, business reviews and follow-up actions, ensuring commitments are recorded and completed.
  • Support customer onboarding, product launches, artwork and packaging coordination, order progression and ongoing supply requirements.
  • Identify and resolve customer-service issues quickly, escalating risks or recurring problems through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Keep customers updated on agreed timelines, order status, availability and relevant operational developments.

Revenue growth and commercial delivery

  • Deliver agreed revenue, gross-margin and account-growth targets across the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional products, services, volumes and longer-term commercial partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a clear pipeline of account opportunities, with realistic values, timings, next steps and probability of conversion.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, account updates and commercial presentations in line with approved pricing and contracting parameters.
  • Support demand planning and forecasting by gathering reliable customer intelligence and maintaining accurate volume expectations.
  • Work with Finance to support timely invoicing, payment follow-up and resolution of commercial account queries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
