CBS Delivery Manager - Change

£52,000 - £58,000 plus private healthcare, pension with up to 10% employer contributions and more great benefits (Work Level 5)

Manchester city centre - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office two days per week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for a CBS Delivery Manager to join the Change team within our Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.

Why this role matters

In this role, you'll lead change across CBS, bringing people together, keeping delivery on track, and ensuring changes are successfully embedded into the business. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of change initiatives, partnering with stakeholders across the business to turn ideas into practical solutions and ensure change is delivered successfully and sustainably.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of change projects from start to finish, making sure they’re delivered on time, within budget, and make a real impact
  • Work with teams across CBS and the wider business to plan and manage change, helping us improve how we work
  • Put the right structures in place to support decision-making and manage changes smoothly
  • Keep everyone updated with clear, honest communication, including risks, issues, costs, and progress
  • Further develop your understanding of our business and how different teams work, so you can support change from all angles
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, making sure communication is open, constructive and effective
  • Role modelling inclusive, collaborative behaviour and supporting others to learn and grow
  • Facilitate meetings and provide relevant project updates to stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for project finances and budget management

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
