An Exciting Opportunity in North Staffordshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North Staffordshire arm (Newcastle and Leek) of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Talking Therapies Service. This Service is a partnership between North Staffs Combined Health Care, the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust and third sector providers and is an innovative high performing Talking Therapies team providing effective treatments for a broad range of common mental health problems in primary care.
We Are Looking to Recruit
We are looking to recruit a part time (18.75 hours per week) CBT Therapist on a temporary fixed term contract ending 16-Mar-2027 to cover maternity leave.
Requirements
To apply you should have qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT from an accredited training provider, and have some experience of treating common mental health problems. Previous experience of working in a Talking Therapies service is desirable
Responsibilities
- Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients with depression and the range of anxiety disorders.
- Adhere to agreed activity relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week.
- Attend regular clinical supervision and caseload management.
