Job Description: CBT Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CBT Practitioner with specialist expertise and experience in working with people experiencing psychosis. You will work in our community-based mental health team in South Camden.
You will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals presenting with psychosis and related difficulties, delivering person-centred care that promotes recovery, resilience, and improved quality of life.
In addition to the specialist psychosis work, the successful candidate will undertake comprehensive CBT assessments and develop formulation-driven treatment plans for individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a strong psychology team.
- Deliver high-quality CBT interventions in line with recognised clinical guidelines, adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of service users and ensuring that care is informed by the latest evidence-based practice.
- Provide psychological consultation, advice, and support to the wider multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of psychologically informed care across the service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance clinical understanding, support case formulation, and promote best practice in the assessment and treatment of complex mental health presentations.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and the continuous improvement of patient outcomes.

This may mean that you are required to work at any location that falls under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
