Job Title: CCTV Controller

Location: Canary Wharf

Rate: Circa £15.50 per hour

Contracted Hours: 3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Rest Avg: 56 hours

Role:

Working within this flagship building and prestigious environment in Canary Wharf your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises, and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants throughout availing of the onsite security systems.

As a CCTV Controller you will supervise all aspects of the client’s/tenant’s security requirements and support the Security Manager in the day-to-day running of the security function.

Further this position will form a key part in assisting the Security Manager with daily tasks and objectives that need to be adhered to in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA). Further in the absence of the Security Supervisor, you may be required to step up as required.

  • Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face, or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful
  • Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount
  • Where applicable: appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion
  • Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice.
