The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team working with our prestigious clients.
We are seeking experienced controllers to work in a brand new control room on site, covering 3 distribution warehouses. In the control room you will be the oversight for the security team and play a vital role in the safety for the site as a whole.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off day and night 12 hour shifts. 42 hours per week average. OT available.
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
- Ensure all staff work in a professional and safe manner.
- Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
- Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
- Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required
- Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite
- Full uniform will be provided.
- Required to work within a control room environment.

The ideal candidate
- SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence & CCTV license (Essential)
- 5 years checkable work and address history
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
- Friendly, approachable, and always professional
- Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
- Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
- Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
- Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
- Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
