Summary
This role involves spearheading and overseeing a variety of CCTV infrastructure projects within Parking Services. The position is crucial for the implementation of new CCTV systems, technological upgrades, system integrations, procurement activities, contract management, and maintenance programs. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, meeting all specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of CCTV projects as part of the Annual Project Work Programme.
- Oversee high-value CCTV contracts and manage project budgets up to £8 million.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate project teams, including internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and external partners.
- Implement new CCTV systems and technological enhancements to meet operational needs.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in managing CCTV infrastructure, surveillance systems, or related technology projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale projects within set budgets and timelines.
- Experience in managing contractors, suppliers, and external service providers.
- Strong understanding of CCTV legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications Required
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in:
- Project Management
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- CCTV/Surveillance Systems
- Transport Technology
- Related discipline
Additional Information
- Contract Duration: 6 months with a local authority
- Rate: £31.74 per hour (Umbrella)
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week
- Hybrid Working: Minimum of two days per week in the office, with potential for more due to on-site visits.
- Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly
