At FM Conway, our CCTV Rig Leaders play a vital role in protecting communities and keeping the UK's essential infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated CCTV Rig Leader to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team. Leading a two-person crew, you'll use state of the art CCTV surveying equipment to investigate drainage networks, identify defects and deliver high-quality surveys and reports.

No two days are the same. Whether you're leading CCTV investigations, managing site operations or working closely with our wider operational teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our drainage services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with drainage experience who is ready to take the lead, share their knowledge and develop their career with FM Conway.

Key Responsibilities

As one of our CCTV Rig Leaders, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate daily CCTV drainage operations, ensuring surveys are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage networks, identifying defects, blockages and potential issues.
  • Analyse survey findings and produce accurate, high-quality reports in line with client requirements.
  • Supervise and support your crew, ensuring work is delivered to the required standards.
  • Manage site activities, ensuring all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors, management teams and clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
