CDD & KYC Analyst - Corporations - Banking
An exciting opportunity to join an international Bank as their CDD & KYC Analyst, supporting complex corporate banking clients across onboarding, periodic reviews, enhanced due diligence and risk assessment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced KYC/CDD professional to develop their expertise within a sophisticated, globally connected banking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collate all appropriate documents for Onboarding (“OB”), Periodical Review (“PR”), and Triggering Event Review (“TER”) for both corporate and individual customers.
- Scan supporting source documents to enable electronic viewing.
- Maintain registers for High Risk, Medium Risk, Low Risk, and TER customers, including record-keeping of all relevant documents.
- Manage Periodic Reviews and Trigger Event Reviews within defined timelines, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing and completing customer onboarding cases under the guidance of the CDD Manager.
- Risk-classify customers in accordance with the Group’s CRAM approach (classifications include high [two levels], medium, and low) for both corporate and individual customers.
- Prepare the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) template and Customer Due Diligence Management (CDDM) Report for Compliance approval.
- For high-risk customers, such as Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), ensure that the Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) have been adequately established and corroborated in line with relevant requirements and guidelines.
- Investigate CoE alerts generated from the daily name screening platform by conducting appropriate assessments and undertaking TERs related to potential or true name screening hits, seeking necessary approvals within stipulated timelines to close cases.
- Liaise promptly with Relationship Managers (RMs) to address any KYC deficiencies or updates to documentary or customer information as identified.
- Prepare the appropriate templates for signature by all necessary bank officials (CRA, CSR, and Matrix forms).
- Submit approval requests to the relevant approvers for continuing the business relationship under PR, TER, or OB cases in accordance with the prevailing approval mat
- Complete and submit the C2C template (Customers and Connected Parties) to Account Services to maintain accurate and up-to-date GCIF records under the customer’s standalone and group trees, as well as in Midas Plus.

- Review and provide feedback on relevant local and Group policies.
- Assist the Senior CDD & KYC Analyst in keeping the CDDM Manual up to date.
- Support the Senior CDD & KYC Analyst with AML-related system implementations.
Qualifications / Other Requirements:
- 2+ years’ relevant experience in a corporate banking or similar environment, specifically within KYC/CDD function, including customer on-boarding and periodic reviews.
- Exposure to complex ownership structures, including offshore entities, partnerships, trusts and funds, with an understanding of project finance and syndicated loan deals.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of AML/CFT, Sanctions risks.
- Good understanding of the banking/financial products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
