Join us at Barclays as a CDD Operations Strategic Delivery Lead, where you'll lead strategic change initiatives, delivering complex transformation programmes that improve customer due diligence processes, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
To be successful as a CDD Operations Strategic Delivery Lead, you must have the following essential skills:
- KYC & CDD Expertise – Strong experience across customer due diligence, onboarding, remediation, and financial crime requirements.
- Transformation Delivery in Regulated Environments – Proven track record of leading large-scale regulatory, operational, or technology transformation programmes.
- Product Management Experience – Deep understanding of product strategy, prioritisation, roadmap development, and value-driven delivery.
- Data & Analytics Capability – Ability to leverage data, MI, and analytical insights to support decision-making and drive programme outcomes.
Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include
- Stakeholder Management & Communication – Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Risk & Governance Management – Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and controls within complex programmes.
- Agile Delivery Experience – Practical experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.

This role is located in Knutsford.
Purpose of the role
Focused on delivering individual projects, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget with a more immediate focus.
Accountabilities
- Scope Management: Manages a single project with specific, defined objectives, deadlines, and deliverables. Their focus is on completing the project on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Strategic Focus: Operates more tactically, focusing on day-to-day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project.
- Time Horizon: Works with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end.
- Stakeholder Management: Primarily manages stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project’s deliverables.
- Risk and Issue Management: Focuses on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project’s scope.
- Resource Management: Manages resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work.
- Financial Management: Focuses on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints.
- Metrics: Measures success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
- Change Management: Manages changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments.

OR for an individual contributor, they will be a subject matter expert within own discipline and will guide technical direction. They will lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments.
