Are you a Health & Safety professional with strong CDM experience looking for a role where you can have a genuine impact across a varied portfolio of construction and facilities projects? This is an opportunity to join a growing safety team within a major international defence organisation, supporting projects across a UK-wide estate. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Facilities teams, contractors and senior stakeholders, providing practical guidance and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with current legislation.
The role offers plenty of variety, with no two projects necessarily looking the same.

- Provide practical CDM 2015 and construction safety advice across a diverse project portfolio.
- Support the Principal Designer function for smaller construction works.
- Carry out site inspections and assess contractor compliance.
- Work directly with project teams and contractors to identify and manage safety risks.
- Support accident and incident investigations where required.
- Contribute to internal and external audits.
- Monitor contractor performance and produce relevant compliance reporting.
- Help develop and improve safety processes, procedures and working practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
