CDM Site Manager - Contract (Herefordshire)

We are working with our client to appoint a CDM Site Manager for a fast-paced industrial roofing project on a FMCG warehouse in Herefordshire. This 5-week contract (24 September - 30 October), outside IR35, will see you act as our client's representative on site, taking ownership of Health & Safety, CDM compliance and coordination of subcontractors to safely finish a live warehouse roofing project. You will be fully site-based, working 8-10 hour days, Monday to Friday.

Key Skills and Experience

  • CDM Site Management: Oversee all site activities to ensure strict adherence to CDM regulations and client procedures.
  • SMSTS: Use your Site Management Safety Training Scheme knowledge to manage and supervise site operations safely.
  • First Aid: Provide immediate support in the event of onsite incidents, reinforcing a strong safety culture.
  • Working at Heights: Apply safe systems of work and best practice for rooftop and elevated tasks on a warehouse roofing project.
  • NEBOSH (Nice-to-Have): Leverage broader Health & Safety expertise to enhance risk management and compliance.
  • FMCG Experience (Nice-to-Have): Understand the operational demands and pace of a FMCG environment and its impact on project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage confidently with our client, subcontractors and site teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • RAMS & Permits: Review risk assessments and method statements, issue permits and conduct thorough site inductions and briefings.
