CDP & CRM Activation Consultant

Salary: Up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus
Contract: Permanent

We are working with a specialist data and marketing technology consultancy looking to appoint a CDP & CRM Activation Consultant to support the design and delivery of customer data, personalisation, and marketing activation solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience across Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), CRM activation, and marketing technology who enjoys working with clients to turn customer data into actionable marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on CDP strategy, solution design, implementation, and activation.
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into practical customer data and CRM solutions.
  • Support audience segmentation, customer data integration, identity resolution, and activation.
  • Work with technical and marketing stakeholders to deliver connected customer experiences.
  • Help clients maximize the value of their customer data through personalisation, lifecycle marketing, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Contribute to technical discovery, solution design, and implementation projects.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and customer data activation.
  • Knowledge of CDP technologies such as Treasure Data, Hightouch, Segment, Tealium, or mParticle.
  • Experience integrating or activating customer data through CRM and marketing automation platforms, ideally Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Understanding of customer data flows, audience management, integrations, and APIs.
  • Experience translating technical capabilities into commercial and marketing outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience within a consultancy, agency, or systems integrator.
  • Exposure to composable CDPs, reverse ETL, or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of customer journey orchestration, lifecycle marketing, and personalisation.
  • Experience supporting CDP implementation or marketing technology transformation programmes.
