About the Role
As the Ceded Re Senior Analyst, you will serve as the strategic and technical engine driving our reinsurance operations and ceded platform forward. Hadron is a modern, high-growth specialty carrier bringing technical excellence and operational agility to the international insurance marketplace.
Reporting directly to the Director of Ceded Re Operations, this is a hands-on, high-impact role built for an ambitious professional who thrives on operational excellence, data integrity, and complex problem-solving.
In this high-visibility position, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end ceded reinsurance lifecycle; from treaty and facultative administration to premium/claim bordereaux processing, financial reconciliations, and asset recoveries. Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day administration of ceded reinsurance treaties and facultative placements across all core business lines.
- Manage the accurate preparation, processing, and reconciliation of reinsurance premium and claims bordereaux.
- Oversee ceded claims recoveries, tracking aged balances, resolving disputes, and ensuring prompt collection from reinsurers.
- Work closely with US leadership and UK operational, underwriting, and finance teams to streamline reinsurance reporting.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, automate reporting workflows, and enhance control frameworks across the Ceded Re suite.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of Ceded Re operations, treaty and facultative structure, and reinsurance accounting principles.
- High level of self-motivation, comfortable operating with a remote line manager and navigating a agile scale-up setting.
- Proven ability to spot process inefficiencies, streamline complex data workflows, and leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to maximise output.
- Exceptional attention to detail when working with complex financial datasets, ledger balances, and reinsurance contracts.
- A self-starter mindset that excels at taking complete ownership and bringing order to complex situations.

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ceded reinsurance operations, reinsurance accounting, or specialty insurance environments.
- Direct experience working within delegated authority or MGA program business environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with financial close support, audit readiness, and complex bordereaux management.
- Deep knowledge of London Market and international reinsurance processing practices.
- Proficiency with modern insurance platforms, ledger software, and advanced Excel modelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field (professional qualifications such as CII preferred).
Role Details
- Up to £65,000 base + 10% bonus.
- London (Hybrid working pattern).
- US-based Line Manager with full local UK team support.
