Cell Coordinator – Manufacturing
Clevedon, North Somerset
12-Month Contract initially
5 Vacancies – Early & Late Shifts
£19.94 – £21.68 per hour
BMR Solutions are recruiting for Cell Coordinators to work for our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Clevedon.
These are initially 12-month contract positions, working within a busy manufacturing environment. The role will suit candidates with previous manufacturing experience who are confident using SAP or another ERP/MRP system and are comfortable coordinating materials, manufacturing orders and production information.
The Cell Coordinator plays an important role in keeping manufacturing activities running efficiently, resolving material and system issues and working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and Engineering.
Vacancies & Shifts
Early Shift – 1 Vacancy – £19.94 per hour
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:15
- Friday: 06:00 – 11:30
Late Shift – 4 Vacancies – £21.68 per hour
- Monday to Wednesday: 14:30 – 00:30
- Thursday: 14:30 – 00:00
- No Friday working
Key Responsibilities
- Use SAP/ERP systems to process and maintain manufacturing orders and material transactions.
- Release manufacturing orders in line with production schedules.
- Process completed manufacturing orders, material rejects, scrap and material changes.
- Investigate and resolve SAP, material and manufacturing order discrepancies.
- Identify and manage material shortages, liaising with Procurement regarding expected delivery dates.
- Support Team Leaders with production planning and resource requirements.
- Investigate Bill of Material (BOM) errors and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and system records.
- Produce reports and information to support manufacturing performance.
- Work across Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement, quality and operational performance activities.

Essential Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Working knowledge of SAP or another ERP/MRP system.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and production orders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with technical and system information.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The confidence to investigate problems and work on their own initiative.
- The ability to work effectively with different departments across a manufacturing operation.
- Experience dealing with BOMs, material shortages, manufacturing orders, production planning or supply chain activities would be particularly relevant.
