A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Cell Manager for Sub Assembly within Siemens Energy Gas Services in Lincoln, you will lead a dedicated manufacturing area responsible for delivering critical sub-assembly components that support the overall gas turbine build schedule. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Leading a team of fitters and manufacturing professionals, you will create a positive, accountable and high-performing environment focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC). You will coordinate labour, tooling, materials and production priorities to ensure smooth workflow across the operation.
Working closely with Rotor, Build, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams, you will play a key role in removing operational barriers, resolving production issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve throughput, efficiency and delivery performance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and develop the Sub Assembly team, setting clear expectations and building a strong culture focused on safety, quality and operational performance.
- Manage day-to-day Sub Assembly operations to ensure schedule adherence and effective support of customer delivery requirements.
- Establish and strengthen Sub Assembly as a standalone operational area, driving accountability, workflow efficiency and performance improvement.
- Coordinate labour, tooling, equipment and materials to maximise productivity and minimise operational disruption.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen improvement activities, identifying waste reduction opportunities, improving throughput and supporting operational excellence.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve quality, safety and operational issues while ensuring compliance with engineering and EHS standards.

What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, assembly or precision engineering environment.
- Strong people management and coaching skills with experience leading skilled manufacturing or assembly teams.
- Experience managing assembly operations against operational KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and waste reduction methodologies such as Kaizen and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality and Production teams within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Strong focus on safety, operational discipline and delivering high standards of workmanship and compliance.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We bring together gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and digital service solutions under one roof. Through modernization, digitalization and innovative service offerings, we support customers worldwide in improving reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
Within the Lincoln manufacturing operation, the Sub Assembly team plays a vital role in supporting gas turbine production by delivering high-quality assembled components into the wider build process. The team works closely with multiple manufacturing and engineering functions to ensure safe, efficient and on-time delivery across the production value stream.
