A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Cell Manager within our Small Gas Turbines business, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance and delivery of the Reclaim and Assessment of Components process. You will ensure the efficient flow of components from stock through assessment and into repaired parts, delivering against Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) targets.

You will lead the team and ensure the right people, processes, equipment and capability are in place to meet both current production requirements and future business demand. Alongside operational delivery, you will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing product cost, developing your people and identifying investments that will strengthen the cell's capability over the longer term.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role where you will have the opportunity to directly influence performance, continuous improvement and the development of our Reclaim operation.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Own the performance of the Reclaim and Assessment cell against Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People targets, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet required cost and quality standards.
  • Plan and organise people, equipment and processes to meet short and longer-term business requirements, identifying investment and capability needs across a 3 to 18-month horizon.
  • Own and implement departmental budgets, driving manufacturing efficiency, productivity and opportunities to reduce product cost while meeting agreed business targets.
  • Lead continuous improvement and Lean activities, communicating priorities and changes clearly and creating an environment where the team actively contributes to improving performance.
  • Ensure appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental and compliance practices are maintained, while supporting the introduction and optimisation of digital tools including SAP, Power BI and MERIC.
  • Lead and develop the team, maintaining effective industrial relations and collaboration across the business, hosting customers and internal stakeholders, and deputising for the Core Reclaim Manager when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
