We are seeking a Central Finance Assistant to join our team at Bourne Education Trust.
In support of the Central Finance Team, the Central Finance Assistant will assist in the day to day running of the finance systems and the financial administrative functions for Bourne Education Trust.
Based at Epsom and Ewell High School (travel to other Trust sites may be required)

Details
- Position: Central Finance Assistant
- Location: Based at Epsom and Ewell High School, Surrey (travel to other Trust sites may be required)
- Contract: Permanent, full time
- Salary: Surrey scale 4 - £25,879

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Ensure financial probity in all activities and support other staff to ensure that financial procedures are appropriately followed in relation to authorisation and approval
- Ensure the Bourne Education Trust Financial Management Manual is adhered to at all times
- Raise purchase orders, setup new suppliers and process invoices/credit notes for payment
Essential Requirements Include:
- An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
- Ability to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to evidence experience of prioritising, planning, organising, and meeting deadlines
