Role Description:

The Central Reservations Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in the Centre of Leeds. The agent will handle inbound reservation inquiries, provide accurate information on rental and subscription options, and process bookings efficiently using the company’s reservation systems.

Main Duties:

  • Professionally resolving inbound enquiries from corporate clients within our dedicated central reservations department.
  • Log, track, and prioritize all customer enquiries, working closely with the central reservations team to ensure all enquiries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Negotiating and arranging car rental bookings applicable to the client’s requirements, maximizing every sales opportunity for the group.
  • Maximizing all rental enquiries by identifying the client’s requirements to ensure the correct product is offered and, where applicable, an appropriate alternative is offered to the client.
  • Providing an excellent customer experience focused on quality, with an adaptable approach appropriate for the client/customer being dealt with at that time.
  • Building strong working relationships with branches to ensure a ‘One Team’ approach to solving client problems and to retain/gain potential bookings. Build rapport with all new and existing customers to retain good relationships.
  • Ensuring all client booking opportunities are responded to and converted in a timely manner by responding to calls/emails, correctly allocating bookings via ‘Prohire’ and other fleet management platforms, communicating efficiently and accurately with the branch network.
  • Adhering to departmental SLA’s and KPI’s targets whilst adhering to set operating procedures and processes.
  • Professionally and proactively making outbound calls to clients following-up booking/lead enquiries.
  • Ensuring incoming calls are answered promptly in a polite, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Participating in projects/absorbing special offers through our Monthly long-term specials tariff.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Central Reservations Team leader.

Experience:
