TCHC Group helps businesses and individuals access a wide range of government-funded training and support programs across the East of England and South East Midlands. The organization delivers accredited and professional courses, including ILM, AAT, Apprenticeships, and various commercial training options. TCHC supports employers with staff development in areas such as leadership and management, accountancy, maths, English, and social media. The group also works with jobseekers, people affected by redundancy, and young people to help them find employment, start businesses, and re-engage with society. Through tailored information, advice, and guidance, TCHC develops training solutions that address real-world challenges and drive positive outcomes.

Role Description

The Centre Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Rochester. This position is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the training center, including coordinating course schedules, supporting trainers, and ensuring that learners receive clear information and a positive experience. The Centre Coordinator will manage learner registrations, maintain accurate records, and handle general inquiries from participants, employers, and partner organizations. The role includes organizing learning resources, overseeing room bookings and equipment, and supporting compliance with internal processes and external funding requirements. The Centre Coordinator will also collaborate with colleagues across TCHC Group to promote programs, monitor attendance, and provide regular updates on center performance.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support learners, trainers, and employer partners professionally and respectfully.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent), data entry, and basic reporting tools.
  • Customer service skills and experience working in an education, training, or community-focused environment are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Rochester while collaborating constructively with a wider team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures related to compliance, funding, and safeguarding.
  • Previous experience in center coordination, education administration, or training delivery support is an advantage.
  • Relevant qualification in administration, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
