Centre Manager

Our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Bath.

About the Role

As a Centre Manager, you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre and workshop teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance
  • Run the day-to-day operation of the centre
  • Maximise customer conversion and ensure strong customer service
  • Manage stock control, deliveries, branch assets, and takings
  • Ensure workshop equipment and machinery are properly maintained
  • Maintain Health & Safety and operational standards
  • Coach and train team members where required

Requirements

To be applicable for this role, you must have:

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit, or a similar environment
  • Strong commercial and sales background
  • Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
  • Team-management experience
  • Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
  • Strong customer-service and account-management skills

Pay / Salary

£38,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience

OTE

Uncapped (realistic £10,000)

Shift and Schedule

08:30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

They have over 180 centres within the UK and are actively growing. They are known for their strong national presence, modern service centres, and commitment to customer care. They are looking to have over 300 centres within the next 3 years. They offer a wide range of services including tyres, MOTs, servicing, and repairs, supported by their ongoing large investment in training, technology, and centre development.
