About the Role
We are seeking a Centre Officer to join a small, friendly team supporting the Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the Create Centre and the facilities management of B Bond.
Create is a busy centre for sustainability, the environment and education with a focus on creativity and social impact to bring about a thriving future for all. We are currently home to 25+ organisations, small businesses and charities, all committed to advancing positive social and environmental impact in some way. We also host a wide range of exhibitions and events and offer galleries, meeting rooms and office spaces for hire.
This role will position you at the centre of all this, acting as a key contact for visitors, contractors, tenants and exhibitors.
You will provide operational support to ensure the successful running and promotion of the centre, helping to ensure the building is safe and welcoming and being proactive in the monitoring and reporting of health and safety and compliance issues.
You will act as a point of contact for tenant and booking enquiries, helping to promote uptake of vacant office space and supporting the marketing and promotion of the site in order to increase footfall and generate income.
You will provide a range of administrative tasks including invoicing, raising purchase orders and working on external and internal communications to help expand our audience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
