Details

Kumon develops every child’s potential, offering maths and English study programmes to more than four million students worldwide. This centre is the central hub for Kumon instruction learning and development for all Kumon associates and new Instructors.

Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include

  • Providing a professional reception service for the centre.
  • Welcoming parents and taking messages.
  • Communicating with Kumon parents regarding issues such as absences, discontinuance, and payments.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with Kumon parents.
  • Student sign in and sign out, including parent pick-up responsibility.
  • New student form collection.
  • Simple enrolment explanation.
  • Carrying out other general administration duties.

  • Proven track record in administrative roles.
  • Proficient with the full range of Microsoft Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Team player, but ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods.
  • Professional manner, Enthusiasm and Positive attitude.

  • Positive And Caring Interest In Children And Their Capabilities.
  • Must have Grade B in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).

Recruitment

Stage 1 - Telephone Meeting with Recruitment Coordinator

Stage 2 - Orientation Meeting; including proficiency tests in Maths, English, and Aptitude

Stage 3 - Competency-based interview

Working Hours

  • 35 hours per week
  • Tuesdays 11:00 - 19:30
  • Wednesdays 11:00 - 19:30
  • Thursdays 11:00 - 17:30
  • Fridays 11:00 - 19:30
  • Saturdays 8:30-16:30
