About Vorsprung

Vorsprung is a growing UK business operating within the EV charging and technology sector.

We are an entrepreneurial company with ambitious plans for growth, and we're looking for an exceptional CEO's Associate to work directly alongside our CEO and help drive the next stage of the business.

This is not a traditional assistant or administrative role.

You'll work across business development, partnerships, commercial projects, research and company-wide initiatives. You'll be expected to spot opportunities, take ownership and turn ideas into results.

For the right person, this is an unusual opportunity to learn how a growing business is built from the inside while having a direct impact on its growth.

The Role

Approximately 50% of your role will focus on business development and commercial growth, with the remainder working alongside the CEO on projects and priorities across the business. No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Help identify and create new revenue opportunities, including:
    • Identifying and approaching potential B2B customers
    • Developing new commercial partnerships
    • Researching new markets, sectors and sales channels
    • Building and managing a pipeline of commercial opportunities
    • Preparing proposals and supporting negotiations
    • Following opportunities from initial contact through to commercial outcome
    • Finding new ways for Vorsprung to generate revenue and expand its reach

We don't just want someone who can maintain a pipeline. We want someone who can create opportunities where none currently exist.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

CEO Projects & Execution

  • Work directly with the CEO on some of the company's most important projects, including:
    • Researching new commercial opportunities
    • Managing projects from idea through to completion
    • Conducting competitor and market analysis
    • Supporting new product and market launches
    • Helping develop and test new growth initiatives
    • Improving internal processes and ways of working
    • Supporting recruitment and other strategic projects
    • Using AI and automation to improve productivity and execution
    • Preparing information and analysis to support decisions
    • Following up actions and ensuring important projects actually get completed

You'll have visibility across much of the company rather than being confined to one department.

Who We're Looking For

We're deliberately flexible on experience.

You might be an ambitious university graduate looking for an unusually commercial first role, or you might already have several years of experience in business development, start-ups, consulting, operations or another entrepreneurial environment.

Your mindset matters more to us than the number of years on your CV.

You should be:

  • Entrepreneurial - you naturally look for opportunities and better ways of doing things
  • Commercially minded and interested in how businesses grow
  • Confident communicating with customers, partners and senior people
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and creating new relationships
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects
  • Analytical and comfortable researching unfamiliar subjects quickly
  • Resourceful - when you don't know something, you work out how to find the answer
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Curious about technology, AI and new ways of working
  • Someone who likes responsibility rather than waiting for instructions

What This Role Isn't

This is not a PA or traditional executive assistant position.

There will naturally be some coordination and organisation involved when working closely with a CEO, but the purpose of the role is not to manage diaries or perform routine administration.

We are looking for someone who wants to build, sell, solve problems and grow a business.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 3-6 months, we'd expect you to be:

  • Generating new revenue opportunities
  • Opening doors to new customers and commercial partnerships
  • Developing a strong B2B pipeline
  • Taking ownership of important projects
  • Bringing new ideas and opportunities to the CEO
  • Becoming someone the CEO can give a problem or objective to and trust to drive it forward

Why Join Vorsprung?

You'll work directly alongside the CEO rather than several layers removed from decision-making.

You'll see first-hand how commercial, product and strategic decisions are made and have the opportunity to influence them yourself.

You'll also have the freedom to propose ideas and then actually build them.

For someone entrepreneurial, this breadth of exposure can be significantly greater than you'd typically get from a conventional graduate or corporate role.

As Vorsprung grows, we want you to grow with us.
