At SFUSD, we strive to ensure that our schools are places where each and every child receives the quality instruction and equitable support necessary to thrive in the 21st century. Our goal is to recruit, hire, and cultivate highly skilled certificated staff who work to ensure equitable outcomes for students and create a positive and caring learning environment. Our teachers, counselors, nurses, school psychologists, and speech therapists are the key drivers of our goals and guardrails as they provide direct services to more than 40,000 students.
