Certification Engineer
We are recruiting a Certification Engineer to join an established engineering manufacturer in Cramlington.
This is a varied technical role covering product certification, CAD, engineering documentation, and product testing. Previous certification experience would be advantageous, but we are also interested in Design, Product, or Development Engineers with relevant transferable experience.
The role:
- Support product certification against relevant standards and directives
- Produce and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings
- Support new product development and design improvements
- Prepare technical and certification documentation
- Maintain BOMs, drawings, and other controlled documentation
- Support product testing, validation, and test reporting
- Liaise with external certification bodies
- Provide technical support across Engineering, Quality, and Sales

The person:
- Engineering, design, certification, or technical support experience
- CAD and technical drawing experience
- Comfortable working to engineering standards and QA procedures
- Experience producing technical documentation
- Product testing/validation experience advantageous
- Certification/compliance experience advantageous

Package:
- £42-45k
- 35 hours per week
- Every other Friday off
