Monarch Ford in Exeter, CA is looking for a Ford Certified Diesel Technician with a strong background in diesel diagnostics and repair to join its service team. This is a role for someone with real experience; the minimum is 3 years of fleet or dealership diesel work, and Ford dealership background is strongly preferred. What You'll Do
- Perform diesel diagnostics and repairs to Ford factory standards, working from repair orders and documented customer concerns
- Evaluate critical components and safety systems using manufacturer inspection checklists before and after service
- Adjust safety devices, protective guards, and fasteners as needed to meet factory specifications
- Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify quality, safety, and performance
- Tag and submit warranty parts to the warranty clerk following dealership procedures
- Record completed work on repair orders accurately, including labor operations and torque specifications
- Monitor Ford technical service bulletins and attend manufacturer training sessions as assigned
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, and return customer vehicles in a better condition than they arrived in

What We're Looking For
- Ford certification required
- Minimum 3 years of fleet or dealership diesel repair experience required
- Prior Ford dealership experience a plus
- CDL license a plus
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and apply technical manuals, bulletins, and repair procedures
- Must supply own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
