Role Description
The Certified Therapist | Mental Health & Wellness | Freelance role at TherapyMantra is a part-time, remote position focused on delivering high-quality online counseling and therapy services to a diverse global client base. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting individual, couples, or family sessions via secure video or chat
- Performing psychological assessments
- Developing evidence-based, client-centered treatment plans
- Monitoring progress
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation
- Coordinating care with other mental health professionals when needed

The role also involves:
- Providing psychoeducation
- Recommending self-help tools and wellness resources available on the platform
- Supporting clients in crisis management within established protocols
As a freelance practitioner, the therapist manages their own schedule while adhering to professional ethical standards and TherapyMantra’s clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, including knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and current best practices.
- Clinical expertise in Counseling and Psychological Assessment for individuals, couples, families, or children.
- Relevant academic background in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Psychiatry, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Active, valid licensure or certification to practice as a therapist, counselor, psychologist, or equivalent in the candidate’s jurisdiction.
- Experience with teletherapy or online counseling platforms, and comfort using secure video, chat, and digital documentation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills, with the ability to work with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong professional ethics, commitment to client confidentiality, and adherence to regional regulatory and clinical standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setting, manage caseloads, and maintain reliable internet and a private workspace.
