The CFO will play a key role in shaping and executing the strategy for the business, supporting sustainable growth and operational development, while providing leadership across the finance function. The role will have a broad remit spanning financial management, performance, investment, acquisitions, and commercial decision-making, including supporting the development of the Group’s commissioning, pricing, and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Lead the consolidation of financial information and reporting, bringing greater consistency and clarity to the way performance is measured across the organisation.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and working capital.
  • Operational Collaboration: Work closely with operational leadership to understand performance, challenge assumptions, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Commercial Insight: Play an important role in the wider commercial agenda, helping to evaluate and commercialise opportunities across the business.
  • Leadership: Help identify areas of latent value, support operational improvement, and ensure financial insight is translated into meaningful action.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
