CFO – Music Distribution Scale-Up - London (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing music distribution business that is entering an exciting period of growth. The business works across the music ecosystem, supporting artists, labels and rights-holders to distribute and monetise music globally.
They are now looking to appoint a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to play a key role in the next stage of the company's growth, with acquisitions and M&A sitting at the heart of the mandate.
The Role
This is a broad, commercially focused CFO position, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive financial performance and support the company's ambitious growth plans.
A major part of the role will be identifying, assessing and executing acquisition opportunities across the music and wider entertainment ecosystem. You'll be expected to bring strong financial and commercial judgement to potential investments, from initial opportunity assessment through to due diligence, negotiation and integration.
Alongside M&A, you'll take ownership of the core finance function and provide the leadership team with the insight and challenge required to make informed commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
