Marks Sattin Executive Search Opportunity

Marks Sattin Executive Search are working with a rapidly developing PE-backed Buy and Build Marketing Services business, seeking an outstanding Chief Financial Officer to become an integral part of its vibrant team, steering the company's financial strategies and oversee effective buy and build strategy, to lead the business through its next stage of profitable growth.

Partnering with a reputable Private Equity house, this is a great opportunity for a CFO to deliver organic growth and execute the commercialisation of the business, whilst helping to drive the financial facets of M&A activities and integration and professionalising the finance function. Working closely with the executive team and Private Equity firm to drive business growth and profitability, identify opportunities for strategic expansion, and ensure that the financial operations of the business are conducted in a highly effective and efficient manner.

This is a multifaceted role where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide skilled financial leadership
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the company's financial blueprint
  • Provide accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making
  • Establish and execute risk management measures to protect the company's financial health
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial report compilation, outlining financial performance for stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor the finance team in order to foster a culture of excellence and continuous progress

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Experience as a CFO or Divisional CFO within a PE-backed Marketing Services business, with a proven track record of leading buy-and-build strategies and, ideally, successfully taking a business through to exit.
  • Previous experience in building out the finance team and professionalising the finance function in preparation for scalable growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
