Role Overview

Marks Sattin Executive Search is collaborating with an International PE-backed, multi-site consumer-facing business of significant scale to find a CFO who will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. The business has ambitious plans for further expansion and is entering a crucial phase of development, with a future exit event on the horizon.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior financial leadership across the group, overseeing financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Act as a key adviser to the CEO, providing insight and challenge across commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure the business maintains strong financial controls and governance.
  • Lead the finance function and support the continued development of systems, processes, reporting, and management information across a complex, multi-site operation.
  • Get involved in a range of strategic and corporate initiatives as the business progresses through its next phase.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to support financial performance, improve efficiencies, and provide clear financial insight across the business.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, investors, and wider stakeholders in preparation for the future exit event.

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Seasoned CFO with proven experience within a PE-backed multi-site business consumer-facing business of scale
  • Track record of supporting significant growth and expansion
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to influence at board and investor level
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, evolving business with ambitious expansion plans
  • A hands-on, resilient, and adaptable leadership style
