Deal Maker – Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As a Deal Maker at Atos, your mission is to lead large, complex deals valued at $25 million and above, from initial qualification to contract signing. You will:

  • Lead grants that meet annual services revenue targets by:
    • Mining existing customers and identifying new opportunities within key accounts.
    • Focusing on services, implementation, and solutions development.
  • Utilise consultative selling skills to:
    • Understand and assess customer/prospect business needs.
    • Recommend tailored solutions aligned with their objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, specialising in:
    • Complex opportunities (minimum $25M in total contract value).
    • Developing deep insights into clients’ business and functional requirements.
  • Assemble and lead the pursuit team responsible for:
    • Crafting a clear, differentiated strategy to win the selection process.
    • Negotiating favourable contract terms and securing deal sign-offs.
  • Ensure collaboration with Atos partners throughout the governance process, maintaining full accountability for the deal.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead pursuit teams to achieve high win rates for large client deals.
  • Deliver timely order entry with effective sales execution.
  • Clearly articulate:
    • Key business objectives and challenges unique to each deal.
    • The market landscape, including regulatory implications.
    • Competitive positioning and win strategies to optimise success.
  • Build strong relationships across the client’s organisation, from C-suite to operational teams.
  • Understand the client’s:
    • Investment priorities, governance models, and budget approval process.
  • Position Atos as the most relevant solution to drive deals successfully.
  • Inspire bid teams to execute winning proposals and deep dive into deal-specific due diligence.
  • Deploy strategic activities such as:
    • Win strategy workshops.
    • Regular deal health reviews to maximise success rates.
  • Execute relationship strategies, ensuring buy-in from both executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Continuously re-assess deal viability throughout the sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts to optimise profitability while minimising commercial risks.
  • Maintain client satisfaction to ensure they become long-term Atos advocates.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Atos’ governance (Rainbow) processes.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and CRM updates weekly.

  • Successfully closing large, complex deals (typically €10M–€25M+).
  • Enterprise sales and digital transformation expertise.
  • End-to-end deal management from qualification to contract signing.
  • Collaborating with multinational clients and global delivery teams.
  • Strategic sales, deal shaping, and consultative frameworks (e.g., RFP, RFI).
  • Competitive positioning and win strategy development.
