Through pioneering research, cutting-edge technology, and an unwavering commitment to compassionate care, Shaare Zedek continues to transform lives every day.

About Shaare Zedek UK

Shaare Zedek UK is the charity dedicated to supporting Shaare Zedek Medical Center from the United Kingdom.

Working with donors, trusts, foundations, and the wider community, we raise vital funds to provide life-saving medical equipment, support pioneering research, enhance patient care, and invest in the hospital's future development.

As the hospital embarks on its most ambitious expansion in its history, including the construction of a new state-of-the-art medical tower, Shaare Zedek UK is entering an exciting new chapter. We are seeking an exceptional Chair who can help guide the organisation through this period of growth, ensuring strong governance while championing our mission and inspiring confidence amongst our supporters and stakeholders.

Role Purpose

The Chair provides strategic leadership to the Board of Trustees, ensuring Shaare Zedek UK is well governed, financially sustainable, and focused on delivering its charitable objectives.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the Chair fosters an effective partnership that combines support with constructive challenge, enabling the organisation to achieve its strategic ambitions while maintaining the highest standards of governance.

The Chair plays a key ambassadorial role, representing the charity externally and helping to strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and the wider community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
