About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional financial leader to join our Board and Finance & Resources Committee with a view to becoming the Chair of the Committee in the future. This is a key governance role with responsibility for supporting the Governing Body’s oversight of the College’s financial sustainability, resources, estates, and workforce.

Working closely with the Chair of Governors, Principal, fellow governors, and senior leaders, you will be part of the committee that provides strategic challenge and assurance on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Governing Body’s oversight of the College’s financial sustainability, resources, estates, and workforce.
  • Provide strategic challenge and assurance on financial matters.
  • Collaborate with the Chair of Governors, Principal, fellow governors, and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Significant senior financial leadership experience gained in the public, private, or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Board, committee, or non-executive experience would be valuable.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, ask insightful questions, and support robust decision-making.
