Change & Adoption Analyst - Digital Transformation

Location: East London - hybrid, typically 2 days per week onsite
Contract: Initial interim contract
Rate: Up to £450 per day on an Inside IR35 basis

The Opportunity

We're working with a large public sector organisation embarking on an ambitious, multi-year modernisation programme that will fundamentally change how services are delivered. Technology, automation and AI will play a significant part in that transformation. As new digital solutions and ways of working are introduced, they now need a Change & Adoption Analyst who can work directly with users to make sure those changes are understood, adopted and embedded.

This is a hands-on role sitting between digital change, user adoption and training. You'll work closely with operational teams and digital delivery colleagues, helping people understand what is changing, what it means for their day-to-day role and how they can get the best from new technology.

The Role

You'll support the introduction of new digital solutions across a wide range of services, working with users before, during and after implementation.

You'll:

  • Assess how new technology and redesigned processes will affect different teams and users.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand adoption needs, potential barriers and levels of digital confidence.
  • Develop practical change and adoption plans for new systems, tools and ways of working.
  • Create clear, accessible training materials, guidance, demonstrations and user resources.
  • Deliver engaging training through a mixture of classroom sessions, Teams sessions, workshops, demonstrations and recorded content.
  • Provide one-to-one coaching, drop-ins and practical support to users who need additional help.
  • Translate technology into practical benefits, helping people understand how it can make their jobs easier and services more effective.
  • Help teams make better use of existing productivity and collaboration tools as well as newly developed solutions.
  • Gather feedback, monitor adoption and identify where additional support or intervention is needed.
  • Work with service managers and digital teams to ensure new processes and ways of working become embedded rather than users reverting to old practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The projects will be varied. You could be helping a frontline team adopt an AI-enabled tool one month, supporting the rollout of a new workflow or case-management process the next, or helping teams replace manual, spreadsheet-heavy ways of working with more effective digital tools.

The Person

We're looking for someone who enjoys the people side of technology change and is comfortable getting out into the organisation and working directly with users. You could come from a Change Analyst, Digital Adoption, Technology Adoption or IT Training background. More important than your job title is your ability to combine change skills with practical, hands-on user support.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience supporting technology-enabled change and the adoption of new systems, digital tools or processes.
  • Strong training, facilitation, coaching and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating practical training materials, user guidance and communications.
  • The ability to quickly understand new technology and explain it in straightforward, user-friendly language.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and users with differing levels of confidence and enthusiasm for change.
  • An understanding of change and adoption principles and how to embed new behaviours beyond the initial training or go-live.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the flexibility to adapt your style to different teams and audiences.
  • The ability to work at pace across multiple areas of a changing organisation.
  • Formal change methodologies such as Prosci/ADKAR would be useful, but we're more interested in practical experience of helping people successfully adopt technology than qualifications or methodology alone.
  • Previous local authority or public sector experience would be useful but is not essential. We're equally interested in candidates who have supported digital adoption and technology-enabled change within other large or complex organisations.
