Role Description

The Change & Communications Manager will lead the planning and delivery of change and communication activities for key digital and transformation initiatives.

This contract role (1-month rolling) is hybrid, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing communication plans
  • Creating clear and engaging content for internal & external audiences
  • Aligning messages with change strategies and organisational goals

The role involves:

  • Coordinating with project teams and senior stakeholders
  • Managing communication channels
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of change communications to support adoption and engagement

The manager will also:

  • Identify communication risks
  • Propose mitigation strategies
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across programs and business units

Qualifications

  • Change Communications expertise, including designing and delivering communication strategies that support organisational change and user adoption.
  • Communications Planning skills to develop structured, multi-channel communication plans and timelines aligned with project milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement capabilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence decision-makers, and build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Internal Communications experience in crafting messages, briefings, and campaigns that inform, engage, and motivate employees during change.
  • Strategic Communications skills to align messaging with organisational vision, digital transformation objectives, and key business outcomes.
  • Proven experience in managing change or communications within complex, multi-stakeholder environments (consulting, government, or large enterprises beneficial).
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex information into accessible, user-focused content.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and deliver to tight deadlines with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, agile delivery, or public sector projects is an advantage.
