Interim Communications Specialist

Belfast | On-Site | 6-Month Contract

Inventum Group is partnering with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit an Interim Communications Specialist to support a major business transformation and integration programme.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced communications professional who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment, build communications activity from the ground up, and deliver clear, engaging messaging during a period of significant change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead communications activity for a newly established Belfast operation.
  • Develop and deliver change, transformation, and integration communications plans.
  • Create key messaging and communications materials for employees and stakeholders.
  • Establish new internal communications channels and tools.
  • Support colleague onboarding and engagement throughout the transition.
  • Partner with project teams, leaders, and communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Align local communications with wider UK and global communications frameworks.

About You

  • 5+ years' communications experience.
  • Proven background in change communications, transformation, or M&A environments.
  • Able to hit the ground running and quickly build credibility with stakeholders.
  • Experience launching communications channels, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
  • Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
