Interim Communications Specialist
Belfast | On-Site | 6-Month Contract
Inventum Group is partnering with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit an Interim Communications Specialist to support a major business transformation and integration programme.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced communications professional who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment, build communications activity from the ground up, and deliver clear, engaging messaging during a period of significant change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead communications activity for a newly established Belfast operation.
- Develop and deliver change, transformation, and integration communications plans.
- Create key messaging and communications materials for employees and stakeholders.
- Establish new internal communications channels and tools.
- Support colleague onboarding and engagement throughout the transition.
- Partner with project teams, leaders, and communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging.
- Align local communications with wider UK and global communications frameworks.

About You
- 5+ years' communications experience.
- Proven background in change communications, transformation, or M&A environments.
- Able to hit the ground running and quickly build credibility with stakeholders.
- Experience launching communications channels, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable operating in a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
