We're supporting a London-based client who are looking for an experienced Change & Engagement Lead to lead Change on a Finance workstream for an Enterprise-wide Transformation programme. The Change & Engagement Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption of new ways of working, processes and technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation workstream where communication, stakeholder engagement and business readiness are critical to success. Working closely with programme leadership, delivery teams, 3rd parties and business stakeholders, you'll develop and deliver change strategies that maximise engagement, drive adoption and embed lasting behavioural change across the organisation.

As the Change & Engagement Lead, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering the communications, engagement and change management approach across the Finance Transformation workstream. You'll ensure colleagues understand the vision, are prepared for change and are equipped to adopt new processes and technologies successfully.

This role requires someone who can confidently engage senior stakeholders across a complex landscape, translate complex programme activity into clear communications and create a positive experience for everyone impacted by transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the change management, communications and engagement strategy for the Finance Transformation workstream.
  • Partner with programme leadership, project managers, 3rd parties and business stakeholders to create a compelling vision for change and clearly articulate programme benefits.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to understand business impacts and define appropriate change interventions.
  • Assess organisational readiness and develop plans to support successful adoption of new processes, technology and ways of working.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across multiple business areas, building strong relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Design and deliver communication plans that keep stakeholders informed, engaged and aligned throughout the transformation journey working closely with the organisations internal communications function.
  • Coordinate and support learning and training activities, working alongside Learning & Development and Internal Communications teams where appropriate.
  • Establish and support change champion networks to drive engagement and encourage adoption across the organisation.
  • Monitor adoption, engagement and change effectiveness, making recommendations to improve outcomes where required.
  • Support the transition of new capabilities into operational teams, ensuring sustainable change and alignment with continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering change management on complex transformation or technology programmes, ideally experienced in finance system change.
  • Strong background in communications, stakeholder engagement and business readiness.
  • Experience designing and implementing change and adoption strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Demonstrable experience of working at pace in ambiguity.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders from operational teams through to senior leadership.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, engagement sessions and change impact assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
  • A collaborative approach with exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Experience supporting Finance Transformation programmes, including ERP, or shared service transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of recognised change methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR, APMG Change Management, Change Management Institute, MSP or equivalent.
  • Experience working alongside project management and business analysis teams within large transformation programmes.
