Change Lead - Global Retail Technology Programme (Contract)

Duration: Initial 6 Months
Location: Reading or Dublin (Hybrid basis)
Job Type: Inside IR35 Day Rate

We're looking for an experienced Change Lead to lead business change activities for a major global Point of Sale (POS) transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has successfully delivered change on a large-scale POS implementation, upgrade, or similar retail technology transformation, driving adoption across multiple markets and business functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading end-to-end change delivery across a global retail technology programme
  • Developing and executing change, communications and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Conducting change impact and business readiness assessments
  • Driving user adoption and organisational readiness through deployment and go-live
  • Managing change risks, resistance and adoption challenges
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across Retail Operations, Technology, Finance, Learning & Development and Customer Services
  • Working closely with external implementation partners throughout the programme lifecycle

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Change Manager or Change Lead on a large retail technology transformation
  • Strong background delivering change for POS implementations/upgrades or similar store technology programmes
  • Demonstrable end-to-end change management delivery experience
  • Retail industry experience is essential
  • Experience managing change across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups
  • Strong communications, engagement and business readiness expertise
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and implementation partners
  • Multi-market or global programme experience highly desirable
  • Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG or similar) preferred
