🚀 Change Management Consultant – Workday / HCM Transformation

📍 UK | Mostly Remote + Customer Site Travel
đź’° ÂŁ99.15 per hour PAYE
⏰ Full-Time Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Change Management Consultant to join Workday’s EMEA Change Management team, supporting customers through major Workday and HCM transformation programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly experienced Workday Change Practitioners and certified Workday consultants, helping organisations successfully manage the people side of enterprise technology transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside a Principal Change Management Consultant, you’ll partner directly with customer stakeholders, project leadership, and senior executives to drive successful adoption of Workday.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting stakeholder identification and engagement
  • Conducting change impact analysis
  • Developing communications strategies and plans
  • Creating training strategies, plans, and materials
  • Producing hands-on communications and training content for end users
  • Conducting readiness assessments
  • Supporting adoption measurement
  • Maintaining change management project plans
  • Advising customers on change activities throughout the Workday deployment
  • Providing both strategic guidance and hands-on day-to-day change support

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in HCM deployment change management across large transformation programmes
  • 5+ years’ experience working with or implementing a Tier 1 enterprise platform, such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, NetSuite, FinancialForce, or similar
  • 5+ years’ consulting experience – either within a consultancy/software organisation, as an internal consultant, or as a contractor supporting customer deployments
  • Strong experience leading people through changes to processes, ways of working, and enterprise technology
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
  • The ability to operate strategically with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with delivery
  • Strong written communication skills and experience developing change, communications, and training materials

Highly Desirable

  • Direct Workday implementation/change management experience
  • Experience supporting complex, large-scale, or international HCM transformations
  • Strong training, communications, readiness, and adoption experience
  • Additional German or French language skills

Working Pattern

The team operates on a mostly remote basis, offering flexibility and a strong focus on work-life balance.
There will, however, be occasions where being on a customer site is important, so candidates should be comfortable with travel of up to 25% when required.
