Salary Scale: £52,012 to £69,366 per annum

As the industry transitions to Great British Railways (GBR), bringing track and train together under a single guiding mind and moving towards public ownership, we are looking for an experienced Change Manager to join Rail Delivery Group (RDG) and play a pivotal role in preparing our organisation for this transition. Working across people, processes, culture and organisational design, you'll help ensure RDG is ready for Day One of GBR and the phased transition leading up to this.

If you thrive in complex environments, enjoy influencing senior stakeholders and want to be at the heart of one of the UK's most important transformation programmes, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As Change Manager, you'll lead and support change initiatives that help RDG successfully navigate the transition to GBR. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering a structured change strategy, plan and roadmap aligned to GBR milestones
  • Translating evolving industry reforms into practical actions for teams across RDG
  • Working closely with leadership teams to assess organisational impacts and prepare for change
  • Supporting communication and engagement activities to deliver on the communications strategy that builds confidence, trust and understanding among employees and stakeholders
  • Facilitating workshops, listening sessions and cultural change initiatives
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and mitigation plans across multiple workstreams
  • Supporting the adoption of new governance arrangements, processes and responsibilities
  • Measuring the effectiveness of change activities and driving continuous improvement
  • Partnering with People & Inclusion colleagues to understand workforce impacts, future skills requirements and career pathways
  • Helping prepare RDG's 500+ colleagues for working within an integrated, publicly owned railway environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
