Change Manager
Ocado Logistics | Hatfield (Hybrid)
Permanent, Full-Time
Why Ocado?
Here at Ocado Logistics, it’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience for our partners, developing ground-breaking technology, opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate, and engaging in exciting new business partnerships around the world—changing the way the world shops, for good.
We are the beating heart of our UK business, operating at the intersection of world-class automation, proprietary robotics, and hyper-scale logistics. Our national network of cutting-edge fulfilment centres and strategic offices ensures we optimise the supply chain using proprietary technology to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. At the same time, we deliver bags of possibilities for our employees and a platform to build an extraordinary career where no two days are ever the same.
About The Role
As Ocado Logistics embarks on a journey of significant growth and evolution to support its retailers' expansion plans, we are seeking a strategic Change Manager to ensure that we maximise the benefits of organisational change and maintain operational excellence.
Reporting directly into the Head of Programme Management within our Logistics Programme Management team, you will play a vital role in our future growth and transformation. This is a highly collaborative, high-visibility role where you will work dynamically across our project delivery portfolio to assure a comprehensive understanding of what change is live, planned, in execution, and landed. Your core focus will be to establish a macro-level view of our transformation landscape—minimising the negative effects of transition, balancing change load across operational teams, maximising benefits, and ensuring long-term operational acceptance, adoption, and sustainability across our logistics network.
You Will Be
- Establishing a Change Centre of Excellence: Managing and scaling a central change framework to build organisational maturity and change capability across a growing project portfolio.
- Executing Change Load & Capacity Management: Leading portfolio-level change load assessments and monitoring change saturation to balance transformation pace with business-as-usual (BAU) operational stability.
- Conducting Granular Impact Assessments: Leading robust change impact assessments across people, processes, technology, and governance structures to identify operational friction points and structural risks before deployment.
- Driving Detailed Stakeholder Analysis: Mapping and segmenting complex stakeholder groups to understand change readiness, address specific operational needs, and minimise organisational friction.
- Designing Comprehensive Communication Plans: Developing and executing multi-channel change communication architectures that translate strategic goals into clear, actionable, and aligned messaging for every tier of the business.
- Influencing & Navigating Senior Stakeholders: Constructively challenging portfolio leads, directors, and senior operational stakeholders on change approach, timing, and capacity, using data-driven insights to secure executive alignment.
- Ensuring Long-Term Adoption & Sustainability: Leading operational readiness assessments and defining clear success metrics to track, measure, and report change adoption and performance to project teams and executive management.
- Providing Change Coaching & Upskilling: Offering expert change coaching and training to employees, people managers, and senior leaders to empower them to lead through disruption effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
