The Role

The Change Manager is an individual contributor responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of changes across client environments. This role ensures all changes are delivered in a controlled, compliant, and efficient manner, aligned to financial services regulations and operational best practice. As a hands-on practitioner, you will drive robust change governance, minimise risk, and support business continuity. You will act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring transparency, control, and continuous improvement across all change activity. This role is pivotal in enabling Claranet to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant managed services, while maintaining high standards of customer experience and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end change management lifecycle (planning, assessment, approval, implementation, and review)
  • Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring appropriate governance and approvals
  • Assess risks, impacts, and dependencies, prioritising changes based on business and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all changes are documented, communicated, and delivered in line with ITIL best practices
  • Monitor change outcomes, including success rates, incidents, and post-implementation learnings
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of all changes across client environments
  • Act as an escalation point for change-related issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to align changes with business needs and risk appetite
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, and best practice adoption
  • Support incident and problem management by linking changes to root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Produce governance reporting, dashboards, and insights for stakeholders
  • Ensure change activities meet financial services regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA, PRA, ISO, SOC)
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments with accurate documentation and audit trails
  • Contribute to service improvements, contract changes, and governance initiatives
  • Provide informal mentoring and support to colleagues where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
