As a Change Manager, you play a pivotal role in protecting and improving services used by major public and private sector customers. Your decisions directly influence service stability, risk reduction, and successful delivery of business-critical changes.

High Visibility and Strategic Influence

The role provides exposure to senior technical, operational, and customer stakeholders. You lead risk-based decision-making, facilitate emergency change approvals, and influence service recovery and transformation activities across complex environments.

Recruitment Summary

Shape change, reduce risk, and protect business-critical services while working with some of the UK's largest and most complex IT environments.

Purpose

Ensure changes required to restore, protect, or improve services are assessed, authorized, implemented, and documented in accordance with change management policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Govern the change management process and policy adherence.
  • Assess risk, impact, and urgency of proposed changes.
  • Facilitate emergency change approvals during Major Incidents.
  • Coordinate CAB / ECAB engagement where required.
  • Ensure changes are documented, approved, and auditable.
  • Validate implementation and backout plans.
  • Monitor change-related risk during incident recovery.
  • Ensure change records are updated and closed correctly.
