Change Programme Manager
Birmingham | Hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office | £80,000 per annum
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Change Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of change across our organisation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape, mobilise and deliver change initiatives that improve services, strengthen ways of working and support better outcomes for our tenants.
You’ll act as a trusted delivery partner, bringing structure, pace and clarity to complex programmes and projects. You’ll lead multidisciplinary delivery, business analysis and business change capability, ensuring the right people are focused on the right priorities and that change is embedded effectively across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with directors, sponsors and business owners to understand priorities, shape change initiatives and translate ideas into deliverable programmes and projects.
- Lead the mobilisation and delivery of approved change, ensuring the right sponsorship, ownership, resources, governance and delivery capability are in place.
- Oversee delivery performance across scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risks, dependencies, business readiness, outcomes and benefits.
- Personally lead selected complex projects or programmes where hands-on delivery leadership is required.
- Line manage, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team across project delivery, business analysis and business change.
- Work collaboratively with portfolio, finance and functional teams to manage investment, capacity, risks, dependencies and emerging priorities.
- Champion effective business change, ensuring impacts are understood, stakeholders are engaged and change is adopted and embedded sustainably.

About You
- You’ll bring significant experience of leading complex change, transformation or programme delivery, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and create momentum across multiple priorities.
- Strong programme, project and change delivery experience across complex organisational environments.
- A track record of working with senior leaders to shape priorities, define outcomes and deliver measurable benefits.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide constructive challenge.
- Strong understanding of business cases, benefits, financial management, resource planning, risk, dependencies and governance.
- Experience of leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- A recognised project, programme or change management qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with portfolio management tools such as Monday.com, and qualifications such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2, MSP, APMG Change Management or Prosci, would be advantageous.
