Project Management Consultant
Location: Broughton (Chester), Filton (Bristol)
Duration: 3 months
Daily Rate: up to £550 per day Inside IR35
Working Arrangements: 3 days per week on site
Overview
We're looking for an experienced Project Management Consultant to support the delivery of complex business transformation initiatives within a large, fast-paced organisation. This role will involve coordinating multiple workstreams, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time through effective governance, risk management, and change management practices.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex business transformation and organisational change programmes.
- Strong project management and PMO background within large, matrix organisations.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and issues simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability across senior leadership teams.
- Strong governance experience, including RAID management, action tracking, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reporting for leadership audiences.
- Experience facilitating workshops, project forums, and governance meetings.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
- Experience delivering HR transformation projects, including initiatives such as organisational design, workforce transformation, HR process improvement, people change programmes, or HR system implementations.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide change management activities and embedding new ways of working.
- Defence sector experience.
- Active SC Clearance is a major advantage.
- Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
