Client Deployment Role Description

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Change Risk Analyst to support two strategic Wealth Management transformation programmes within a leading Financial Services organisation. The successful candidate will lead change risk activity across both programmes, ensuring that risk assessments, control changes and governance artefacts are completed in line with the project lifecycle and path to production. This role requires a strong blend of business analysis, change delivery and operational risk experience. The successful candidate will work closely with Business, Technology, Risk and Control teams to assess future-state risks, coordinate specialist risk reviews and ensure a consistent approach across interconnected programme workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead change risk management activity across two strategic Wealth Management programmes.
  • Ensure all required risk and control artefacts are completed in line with programme plans and governance timelines.
  • Maintain oversight of risk activity throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to implementation and production.
  • Identify gaps, delays and dependencies affecting risk delivery and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Ensure programme risks are clearly documented, owned, assessed and escalated where appropriate.
  • Own the integrated future-state risk profile for each programme.
  • Coordinate risk assessments across proposed changes to systems, products, processes and operating models.
  • Work with Business, Technology and Risk stakeholders to identify potential operational risks and control requirements.
  • Assess the impact of programme decisions on the wider Wealth Management risk and control environment.
  • Ensure risk assessments clearly reflect the end-to-end impact of the proposed change.
  • Lead risk reviews covering changes to business processes, controls and operational responsibilities.
  • Document new, amended and retired risks and controls within relevant business risk and control assessments.
  • Support the definition and validation of future-state control frameworks.
  • Ensure control ownership, operation and evidence requirements are clearly understood.
  • Work with business teams to confirm that proposed controls are practical, proportionate and sustainable.
  • Track control design and implementation through to production readiness.
  • Manage the completion of risk activities in line with release, implementation and production milestones.
  • Ensure mandatory risk approvals and assessments are completed before key governance and deployment decisions.
  • Coordinate risk deliverables across programme plans and maintain visibility of progress.
  • Identify risk-related blockers that may affect deployment and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Support business readiness and production assurance activity from a risk and controls perspective.
  • Ensure specialist assessments are commissioned, completed and incorporated into the wider programme risk profile.
  • Track actions, recommendations and remediation arising from specialist reviews.
  • Maintain clear traceability between programme change, identified risks and required controls.
  • Support alignment of the risk assessment approach across both transformation programmes.
  • Ensure Credit and Payment end-to-end delivery is assessed consistently across interconnected initiatives.
  • Coordinate risk activity spanning Pathway, OPUS, Champagne and Supernova workstreams where applicable.
  • Identify cross-programme risks, dependencies and control gaps.
  • Promote consistent standards, documentation and governance across programme teams.
  • Provide a joined-up view of risk where changes affect multiple products, platforms or business processes.
  • Build strong relationships with Programme Managers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Technology teams and Risk functions.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and control assessment sessions.
  • Prepare clear risk updates, decision papers and governance materials.
  • Present risk status, outstanding actions and material concerns to programme leadership.
  • Challenge incomplete or inconsistent assessments and drive clear ownership of actions.
  • Support programme governance forums with accurate and timely risk information.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
