Channel Account Director - Telecoms

Remote Working

£45,000 – £50,000 basic, £90,000 – £100,000 OTE

We’re recruiting a high‑impact Channel Account Director to join a leading organisation within the Communications sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced channel professional to take ownership of a strategic partner portfolio and drive commercial growth across both SME and enterprise accounts.

In this senior role, you’ll manage a blended portfolio of partners, ranging from smaller billing SMEs to high‑value enterprise accounts, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and long‑term revenue expansion. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, strengthening relationships, uncovering commercial opportunities, and delivering structured account development strategies that support partner success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a mixed portfolio of SME and enterprise channel partners
  • Build strong, strategic relationships and identify growth opportunities across all accounts
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand partner needs, challenges, and commercial objectives
  • Lead retention and churn‑risk conversations with confidence and commercial awareness
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across your partner base
  • Monitor account health metrics and resolve issues before they escalate
  • Act as an internal advocate for your partners, ensuring exceptional service and support

  • 3+ years’ experience in channel, B2B sales, or account management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships at all levels
  • Experience in telecommunications, SIP, UCaaS, or technology channel sales (highly desirable)
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot and convert revenue opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Skilled in handling difficult conversations, including retention and churn discussions

The successful candidate will receive a £45,000 – £50,000 base salary, plus £45,000 – £50,000 commission (Uncapped), alongside an excellent benefits package.
